Many weddings have similarities. You usually have the ‘getting ready,’ the ‘ceremony,’ the ‘reception,’ and the ‘dancing.’ What makes you different from other couples is exactly that…you; no other couple is YOU.

As such, we approach every film as an opportunity to tell your best story, where the wedding is more like the “climactic moment” of said story.

Once we receive your initial inquiry, we often try to jump on a phone call—not for any reason other than to get to know you both a bit more.

Since you’re trusting us to capture your most important day and tell your story, it only makes sense that we learn what that story is!

During our call, we always like to ask a bit about how you two met (as much as you’re willing to tell, of course, we never want to pry), maybe a little about that initial time together, and often we ask about the proposal. Anything you’re willing to share, we wanna hear it!

This is also a great opportunity for questions! We’re an open book and strive to be transparent in all dealings with our couples. We’re asking you to trust us, and it only makes sense for us to be trustworthy in everything we do.

Communication is key for us.

Months leading up to the wedding, we’ll maintain correspondence through the planning process.

We do this by email and/or phone calls, telecommunication meetings, or coffee meet-ups (if the client desires, we never press), and typically attending at least the ‘ceremony rehearsal’ to officially meet the ‘key players’ for the wedding day.

We typically send an email three months, one month, three weeks, and one week before the wedding for a whole host of different reasons. Again, communication is key, and we want to know you as well as possible (and the ins and outs of your story) and make sure we’re completely prepared to capture all the memories.

We don’t necessarily mean the dress, the rings, the invitations, the flowers, the suit, the shoes, etc. Yes, those things are super important, but what we really mean are details that truly push your story forward and tell us what makes your personality shine.

From a subtle twitch of the mouth because you’re about to cry to the awkward glance you give to your partner because they just said something goofy (but you freaking love them anyway), all of which make you the unique couple you are, and all of which are the details we’re so laser-focused on capturing.

This is “game time.” These are the moments we live for. Everything we’ve achieved in our careers, everything we’ve prepared for, and every wedding we’ve captured before yours has quite literally led to this moment—your moment—your wedding.

We’re not capturing a “Fox Jump Cinematics” wedding but a “Jane and John” wedding. We’re capturing YOUR wedding, and we never know what kind of story we’re telling until the story is told.

With Fox Jump Cinematics, you’re not only getting video storytellers, but you’re also getting a level of service that goes beyond the package you booked with us. You’re getting that attention to detail that only comes from experience. You’re getting a level of care that only comes from people who truly care about you and the preservation of your most precious memories.

After the wedding, we back up all your footage and audio at least three times for redundancy (Two in our office, and one off-site)

We do this to ensure that your memories are protected and you never have to worry about lost footage.

“This is where the fun begins!”

Every piece of footage and every word of audio captured is carefully culled to make sure we’re putting together the best possible version of your story.

We want to make sure we’re including the best possible versions of Grandma laughing or the best possible versions of nieces and nephews smiling. We want to make sure we don’t miss a thing, so we watch and listen to ALL OF IT. By the time we’re done, we feel like we know you and your family as if they’re our own.

Once we’re done culling all the footage and audio, it’s time to craft. We build your story.

I can promise you that every ounce of love we have is being poured into your final masterpiece, and when the film is delivered, it’ll feel like the wedding was yesterday.

We never put a time limit on our films because we don’t like to limit our creativity. The films are done once they ‘feel finished, ‘ once they feel like the best possible re-telling of YOU.

After the final touches of the film are applied, we test-watch multiple times for possible mistakes, send the film to a few designated ‘reviewers,’ and assuming everything looks great, we deliver your film!
